i was just wondering what your views are on people who are transgender or transexual. i want to hear what you guys have to say first before stating my opinion. and acutally, liam and i had a talk about this on myspace. it was quite interesting >.<
If it makes them happy, then so be it.
I personally have no issue with it, but, in all honesty, it would make me double take if I saw someone. I know thats wrong, but I would.
Those who go through with it are seriously brave, strong people.
To live like the gender you want to be for 2 years before they allow you to do any actual sugery must take some guts...

that's exactly how i feel. i mean, i don't have a problem, but it'd make me look twice. eve if the person is a jerk, you have to admire them for their courage. really, wow.
and i think it's rude how people (such as my sister) say it's disgusting and wrong. i mean, really. how would you feel if you were stuck in the wrong body?

I dont think my opion will matter but i thinks its pretty cool! I like how people express themselves on how they feel! they shouldnt care what other people think no one should but i'm sure it shouldnt matter! I't up to them and a heart wants what it wants!

I don't have any problem with it. I think as long as the person's happy, then that's all that matters.
(Secretly, sometimes I wish I was a guy!) But not enough to warrant a change either through surgery or dressing.
But if you really feel like you should be of the opposite gender, then go right ahead. It would be better to change and face the displeasure of a few, close minded people than stay the gender that you are and be unhappy.

If someone doesn't feel right in the body they have its up to them if they want to change it or not. No one elses, although of course people do judge.
I know a few guys that dress up as women, they're amazing people. Granted they do it for shows and stuff, but same difference. They're nice people in and out of drag and i've gotten to know them quite well so yeah, not an issue for me clearly.
I know a few people that dress as women and can really pull it off.
You wouldn't think they were Men.

yea, that's actually a really good point. some men can make really attractive women. it's like on wildboyz when they went to this theatre and these girls were dancers and i guess they were really attractive. turns out they were men.

Transgender isnt to do with drag thought is it? my understanding was to be transgender was akin to being born with the worlds worse brithmark your for example a girl and born into this guys body and from then on nothing else fits. You never were a guy just the body was wrong and no one can see you until you can change.
And I believe its right for anyone who feels that way to change and I dont judge I admire them for it, there are more genders then boy and girl in this world and I think its great.

You're right but its an easy jump to make to drag and other such issues.

well in my opinion i think that people should do what make them happy..
and if changing their gender is what makes them smile and feel better about them..then they should go for it..some people were born in to the wrong bodys..and they are just correcting the oopsie..i mean come on ever God makes mistakes:)
