Is there a such thing? Most people would say it is just freedom, others might say our rights. Sometimes it doesn't seem realistic, I feel like the American Dream is something created to make people work harder.
What do you guys think?
Wasn't it ment to be equality between races?

The American Dream is whatever you want it to be I guess. I haven't a clue, being English. lol.
I wonder what the English dream would be? Bring back monarchical goverment! Huzzah.

Well considering the American dream is " if you work hard enough you will get whatever you want" basically in short version =]
i think its true because if you put in the effort you get rewarded.
To own your own land and to provide for yourself.
Read Of Mice and Men. Good book :]

But in Of Mice and Men, they're all hillbillies.
What about the wealthy people that don't need to own land and provide for themselves. What's their dream?

Haha, We are reading Of Mice and Men, well, I'm not actually reading it but still. >_> On another note, I think the American Dream is to do better than your parents, I mean, it makes sense right?

They are so not hillbillies! I really like that book. It's short and contains some valid arguments about prejudice. Anddddddddd, for people that already own their own land, they have successfully achieved their dream :]
