YouTube comments.

Has anyone else noticed how bad these comments are on the site?!
Shouldn't the site be doing things about these things?
I mean..I understand comments that are mild, like "I don't agree blah blah."
But ones that are downright insulting, and extremely vulgar shouldn't be on the site.
You would think they would put in a filter system, at least.

I know. Some of the comments I've seen on the site are disgusting. And the language in some of them!
And sometimes I've gotten hate mail on my account for no reason at all. I don't go on videos I don't like because that's dumb, but even then I get horrible comments sometimes when I say something nice about the video.
They do need filters. Wouldn't it be horrible if you spent hours on a video and then got hate mail all over it, saying how dumb it is and how dumb you are? It can't be good for the person's self esteem.

Yeah, some Of the people on there are just looking for attention or just looking for a fight so they mess with the people through comments

I just laugh at the people who post hate comments on videos,

I've noticed aswell at the amount of bad and almost violent comments thrashes on YouTube

I guess that what happens when you can't see who that person is (coz most don't even put videos on their accounts)

And I thought Stickam was starting to go bad!

with negative comments i just look at the persons channel and see that they probs only have copied material on there channel and its easy to get good comments on "Doctor who S4 ep13 - part 1" type vids

People who leave comments like that just need a life - what's the point giving them any attention whatsoever?
Just vote them down and move on *shrugs*

I hate it when people try to be e-thugs, they are just making themselves look stupid. Youtube definitely need some kind of report system or filter >.>

Umm...you guys...that's what strength of character is for.

Delete and sensor all comments with the thumbs down. Better yet, you can go to the person and talk to him/her about the negative comments.

That's what being proactive means. To also see the opposition, your enemy as your friend.
