What would the world be like if it were heterophobic?
I was arguing with my friends about the phrase "No Homo" and its ability to make anything you do considered "Not gay"
So I started talking about loving my friend Teresa and followed it with "No Hetero" and it got me thinking.
What if the world was heterophobic?
Phrases such as "that's so straight"
or even "No Hetero"
would exist.
I don't know. What do y'all think? It's fun to think about.
Would the world be different if heterophobic?

I've never heard the phrase "No homo".
But my friend, Sam, and I say "That's so straight" just to bug people.
In a small town with no minorities or openly gay people it works surprisingly well. (By openly gay people I mean obviously openly gay people, I'm not a closet case but I don't bring it up in conversation all the time. The only people I see often that don't know are my parents, I don't plan on telling them until the day I move out. They won't take it well. All my father talks about is how he wants me to marry some blonde hair blue eyes boy and make lots of babies. And my mom is always giving me condoms and stuff and telling me it's okay to be having sex and I shouldn't be ashamed because everyone does it and blahblahblah and giving me advise on when to have kids and stuff)
I don't think people should be hetero or homo phobic. It's not something to have mass hysteria over. D: D:

Well i have heard of "no homo"
its a wild fire where i live, and i do find that a little bit offensive
i don't really take "thats so gay" to offense, i figure its just a really popular expression at the moment and that people that say it for the most part, that i know, don't actually think of being gay as a big deal or something bad...
However i think that if the world were to be heterophobic... the human species would be heading towards extinction if it hadn't hit it already...

That's so gay obviously came out of homophobia, but now I think it's just one of those things that doesn't actually mean much any more.
I still think it's bad that gay's a synonym for stupid or lame or whatever but, hey, what can you do?
Yeah, if the world was heterophobic we would be nearly extinct.
People can't change their thoughts but they can change their actions.

I've heard of the term "No Homo" but i've never heard anyone use it in my area. I do have some friends who will use offensive terms towards homosexuals and all i do is agree with them LOL, i mean come on! Is f*g really all that offensive? Someone calling you a cigerette isn't offensive to me, just means i'm a slow form of suicide you just need to.....yea not going to finish that sentence for obvious reasons. ;D
Being deliberately heterophobic just makes us as bad as them, it's pathetic. The only time i say stuff to straight people is when we're pretending to have an arguement, they'll call me something like "f*g" and i'll just reply with "STFU YOU F***ING BREEDER!".
Blah blah blah who gives a s***?

I'm not being heterophobic. It's just like "for the lulz".
Because I've noticed when we say it people really go "Wtf?" and if they have half a brain start thinking.
Of course if they have less than half a brain.......
idiots are fun to watch.
